Organised by Indian Language Society, Ministry of Education and Central University of Rajasthan "Higher Education through Indian Language Medium: Challenges and Prospects" In the National Seminar on National Education Policy 20-20, Union Minister of State for Culture and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal said that there should be three H’s for education. In this, first H is head i.e. intelligence, second H is heart i.e. sanskar and third H is hand i.e. employment. The new education policy fulfills all these three objectives.
Rajasthani language should be included in the eighth list
Organized by the Ministry of Education and the Central University of Rajasthan "Higher Education through Indian Language Medium: Challenges and Prospects" In Ajmer MP Bhagirath Chowdhary talked about inclusion of Rajasthani language in the eighth list. On this Union Minister Meghwal said that Rajasthani language is close to recognition and it will be resolved soon. On the other hand, Professor Rajneesh Arora, director of English and Foreign Language University Regional Council, Lucknow, said that there is a need to change the thinking and attitude towards the mother tongue. Whereas, Vice-Chancellor Professor Anand Bhale Rao said that language is the basis of education. If there is no language then the system of education is also not possible.

Union Minister of State for Culture and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal, Ministry of Education and Central University of Rajasthan organized by "Higher Education through Indian Language Medium: Challenges and Prospects" stated that nation building consists of 7 basic elements territory, population, sovereignty, army, flag, currency and language.
‘This is a revolutionary change’
Vice Chancellor Professor Anand Speaking about the National Education Policy, Bhale Rao said that it is a revolutionary change. For the first time in the education policy, it has been accepted that there can be no better alternative than mother tongue to make the teaching process fast, result-oriented and goal-oriented. He said that it has been observed that the language in which the human mind is accustomed to think since childhood, is more receptive to communication in that language. Research suggests that mother tongue is important in developing one’s thinking and feelings. Learning in one’s own language will help the student to express himself better. Coordinator Dr. Sandeep Ranbhirkar said that there are many challenges in implementing the National Education Policy, but possibilities are also open.
